MGO is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Senior Manager or Director to join our expanding HNW Tax practice in Century City, California. This role is ideal for an experienced tax leader who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys mentoring teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results to sophisticated individuals and families.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and review complex HNW tax engagements, including Individual, Estate, Gift, Trust, S‑Corporation, and Partnership returns
  • Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, consulting on tax, investment, and business matters
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues; lead responses to tax authority notices and client representation
  • Mentor and develop managers, seniors, and staff; provide coaching and performance feedback
  • Partner with firm leadership on business development and practice growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s strongly preferred
  • CPA required
  • Minimum 7+ years of public accounting experience with deep HNW tax expertise
  • Proven leadership, client relationship, and project management skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
  • Must be located in the Los Angeles area for in‑office and client collaboration

Compensation: $150,000 – $230,000
