Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of tax experience, including high-net-worth individuals, corporate and partnerships. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent client service, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trust & estate and other entities.
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical support on various tax issues.
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory services for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 1/2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with tax software and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Heavy sitting for extended periods in front of a computer
  • Overnight travel may be necessary
  • Minimal Hazards

 

Success Factors:

  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

  • Salar Range: $90,000 - $115,000 + Bonus program
