MGO is growing, and we are looking for motivated, hardworking and dynamic Tax Manager with a strong passion for public accounting and tax services to join the Tax Credits & Incentives team. A career in our public Tax sector will provide you with opportunities to utilize your technical skills to identify, qualify and quantify tax credits for clients in many different industries.
This Tax Manager will perform advanced level analytical function related to tax specifications and perform as a lead by assigning work and providing guidance to lower-level associates in the research and development tax credit area along with other tax credits. In this role the Tax Manager will be responsible for discussing and advising clients on the tax implications of the research and development tax credit, evaluating and assisting clients to claim these credits while acting as the primary client contact for these complex tax issues. The Tax Manager is charged with applying knowledge related to the research and development tax credit while reviewing and evaluating potential tax issue along with recognizing and communicating potential risks and potential changes in the tax policy.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing firm. This role will be based near one of our CA-based offices and will focus on providing research and development tax credit services to our qualifying clients. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on the tax implications of these credits, interviewing client personnel to determine the qualifying activities, researching the related tax law surrounding these credits and acting as the primary client contact for these complex tax credit issues. The Tax Manager is charged with applying knowledge to understand potential tax issues and recognizing and communicating potential risks and potential changes in the tax policy.
