Summary

The Billing Analyst position is a part of MGO’s internal Finance Department team. This position is primarily responsible for generating and distributing AR invoices and must be familiar with all A/R functions, while assisting the team with AR follow up and reporting. This role assists with new client system set-up and review.

 

Core Responsibilities:

· Records client billings and prepare all client account reconciliations

· Administers the firms’ collections procedures, policies and process

· Follow up with staff as needed for any AR discrepancies

· Prepares routine billing/collection reports (A/R agings, write off reports, collection status report)

· Complete assigned projects

 

Essential Functions:

· Utilizes computerized accounting software programs to perform duties and responsibilities

· Responsibility of monthly billing cycle in coordination with the Senior Billing Analyst

· Distributes A/R reporting to various levels of users

· Organizes and maintains full collection cycle

· Assist in the monthly maintenance of operational & financial transactional data

· Ability to communicate with all levels of staff effectively concerning core responsibilities

· Performs special project work as assigned within the Finance team

· Maintains A/R data-researching accuracy of cash receipt, application and un-applied cash

· Maintains A/R records and documentation within time and billing system, as well as maintaining our document management system

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent, five years of related experience

· Knowledge of accounting software packages, such as PP365/Dynamics Time & Billing, MAS90, Dell Tech, Sage MAS Pool

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Advanced skill set with Microsoft Office, Heavy Excel

· Advanced skill set with Adobe creating and editing pdfs

· Commitment to excellence and high standards (i.e., acute attention to detail).

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

· Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

· Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

· Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.

· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

· Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.

· Prior experience working in a Professional Services Firm preferred, CPA firm desired

· Virtual Cabinet experience a plus

· Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English

· Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

· Experience multi-tasking within a professional setting is a plus

Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000.
