Job Details

MGO is growing and we are looking for motivated, hardworking and dynamic Manager/Senior Manager - Technical Accounting & IPO and Services. Our managers play a critical role on our consulting engagements and interface with accounting and finance executives on key projects. In your role at MGO, you will be managing a team of senior associates and associates on projects related to:

 

Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Leading IPO engagements and providing guidance to clients throughout the IPO.
  • Drafting S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, and other public company filings.
  • Drafting private company financial statements.
  • Drafting technical memos and accounting policies.
  • Implementation of ASC 606 revenue standard.
  • Implementation of ASC 842 lease standard.
  • Managing a client's audit process and preparing audit support.
  • Carve-out financial statement preparation.
  • Purchase price accounting for business combinations.
  • Post-merger opening balance sheet preparation.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Revenue recognition (including experience implementing ASC 606.)
  • Leases (including experience implementing ASC 842).
  • Equity (stock-based compensation, preferred stock, EPS, warrants, etc.)
    Consolidations (experience in consolidating multiple trial balances in various functional currencies).
  • Debt issuances and debt modifications.
  • Experience in writing technical accounting memos.
  • Business combinations (opening balance sheet, disclosures, etc.) and financial due diligence experience, including carve-outs.
  • Drafting private company financial statements with full footnote disclosures.
    Drafting SEC forms, including S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, 20-F, and other filings.
