    MGO's New York City office is GROWING!


    MGO is seeking a dynamic Resource Manager to join our growing firm! This person will need specific experience recruiting in the Public Accounting industry prior to joining this role. Thie position will be based in our New York city office and will be  responsible for meeting the firm's resourcing and staffing needs by performing full-cycle recruiting. In this position you will work closely with hiring managers across all service lines to find the most qualified candidates that will meet the firm’s current and future needs.

    Essential Functions:

    • Manage firm resources to best meet staffing needs by hiring or relocating employees to fill vacant positions
    • Develop hiring, interviewing, and outreach initiatives to find and hire talent; introducing new methods to increase recruitment visibility, enacting more efficient interviewing and onboarding procedures, and assessing methods and outlets to advertise job openings
    • Collaborate with Office Managing Partners (OMPs)/Service Line Leaders (SLs) to obtain a clear view on their hiring needs to fill specific roles
    • Source candidates through online channels
    • Evaluate candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers for further consideration
    • Report to hiring managers and HR Director on the status of open positions
    • Review and approve job order requisitions
    • Provide timely and consistent communication to candidates on the status of their application throughout the entire recruiting process
    • Track and analyze on recruiting methods; report on hiring trends, identify areas for improvement, and evaluate whether recruitment efforts are working as intended
    • Oversee the maintenance of applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
    • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with other professionals and partners
    • Manage current recruiting procedures
    • Explore recruitment best practices and implement appropriate best practices into the firm
    • Monitor relevant employment legislation and labor laws and implement any required changes ensuring compliance
    • Develop, advise and oversee Recruiting Coordinator position                                             

    Nonessential Functions: Performs other duties as directed by the HR Director  

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes



    • Heavy sitting for extended periods in front of a computer
    • Travel, including overnight, may be required approximately 5% of time

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA in Business or related field
    • Previous experience recruiting in Public Accounting Industry 
    • 5+ years’ experience in recruiting position, 1+ years in a Managing or Supervising role
    • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred)
    • Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment law
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong decision making-skills
